Phil Geary #16
Phil "Lefty" Geary has been a mainstay on the mound and a bulldog over the course of the East Fishkill Tigers tenure in the HVMSBL. Phil pitched for the EF Tigers since 2011 and has parlayed that into leading the Hopewell Tigers of the 45+ HVMSBL. Week in and week out, Phil toed the rubber for more games than any other EF Tigers pitcher in the history of the "franchise." Phil has earned the 45+ Cy Young award an amazing five times from 2018 - 2022. A tremendous pitcher, Phil has also been at the helm of both teams in one way or another for quite sometime. Most noticably as the Manager of the Hopewell Tigers, taking home 2022, 2021, 2019 championships, as well as a participant on the 2019 EF Tigers American Division Championship. In addition to his playing ability, Phil has also taken on a leadership role as the Treasurer for the HVMSBL, dedicating his "down time" to helping the league flourish.
